The lowest carbon footprint for a concert of this size

Helping tackle the biggest contributor to live music emissions

Massive Attack are playing a Bristol homecoming concert on the 25th August 2024. The band will make it the lowest carbon footprint for any concert of its size. By far and away the biggest contributor to live music emissions is audience travel. We're doing our bit to promote travel to the gig by train rather than car and will be planting a tree in the South West for every journey booked to the gig. Fans will be greeted by electric shuttle buses at Bristol Temple Meads to drive them up the Downs for the concert.

We're a small part of a wide range of initiatives including battery and solar powered catering and lighting as well as a fleet of electric and bio-fuel vehicles used for the concert.

In 2019, Massive Attack travelled between gigs on their European tour solely by train. We want to help fans do the same, starting in Bristol in August.
